Re: help needed
as C crawshayi needs more vertical than horizontal space (debateable if breeding, but just normal keeping i mean), so pretty easy to squeeze in.
i have 3 adult female crawshayi, each in matching custom aquaria tanks...the dimensions are (LWH) 8"x8"x15"
they each have created a chamber at the bottom, and as i've let them settle in for ages, i can turn the tank around and observe them, as they've all dug right to the glass. only one of mine has bothered digging a burrow to the surface lol, and she comes out sometimes.
they're not sociable at all, and are quite content to sit at the bottom of their burrows and chill. for the two that have neglected to dig to the surface, i end up having to push food through the dirt for them, which isn't easy. but hey, they're gorgeous girls and i love them despite them being a bit thick!
