Hi all,
Just got a huge salmon pink so I have to let my smaller one go.........want to get a king baboon but have to keep Mrs. sweet with the number of spids I have.
What sort of price does the smaller one (first one ) go for?It has just shed and is looking sweet.

As its unsexed and I've seen a few AF's recently for around £30-£40 I belive I'd say around £20 or so + postage would be a good price to sell.

yeah was gonna say roughly 20 odd quid...but you may do better. that's a nice specimen!
the obvious docility is a selling point, some can be right skittish so-and-so's!
although saying that, they have a reputation for changing their personalities from moult to moult Laughing

I don't understand why you bought the new one or 'have' to get a C.Crawshayi at the expense of the L.Para you have now?

beacuse I have one L.Para now.....and want something different.....can't see the point of having 2.......I only have 4 P.Fasciata because they were communal and living together when bought at the BTS
Because snakes are my main thing......and I am limited to the number of spids I can get....would rather have different T's.#
Also....you say at the expense of the L.Para......but it will only be going to a good home.....otherwise I will keep it.

Why did you buy the new one?

The expense means, buying it for it to be sold off in a short space of time.

Me and many many people I know have a lot more than 1 spider of a certain sp, plenty of point if you like em, are looking at potentially breeding in the future etc.

At some time in the future....I would love to get into breeding but......with all the time I spend on the mutt......snakes......and everyday life....time is limited....
I bought the new one because it is huge.....always wanted a very big spider since I was a kid....got one now
paul
ps....I don't understand what you mean by this...

The one you have would get as large as the one you have now, given time.

That you bought it and are getting rid of it in a short period of time because you have something new.

I agree....
I will probably end up keeping it....it is a better looking spid than the big one....thats for sure.
Just have to think where I could hide a king b. in the house without the mrs. sussing me out

Thats the great thing about Crawshayi, it will just look like a tub of mud, they are prolific burrowers and will spend nearly all their time in the burrow.
