Long over due introduction

My name is Dale and I live in the state of Illinois for the time being. I had first became interested in scorpions when I dealt with one in Iraq during my tenure (11 glorious years) in the Army.
The other side of the coin, I bought a "two legged" tarantula at a "rag tag" pet shoppe because I felt sorry for it. It died several months later (not from negligence) and I bought several after that to replace the emptiness in my heart (come on now, please...lol). Anyway, thus far, it is a honor to be affiliated with everyone here
