Introduction pics
Hi,
I am new here and i thought the best way to introduce myself would be to post pics of my tarantulas. My name is Luke and i am 14 years old, some of you might now me from arachnophiles (LUKE), bugnation (8leggedfreak) and reptile fourm (luke1994), I have well over 100 t's and started keeping them when i was 11. It started with 1 rosea that i bought at a pet shop but i found out that he was a mature male after some reading on the internet and he died a couple months after i bought him. He was the tarantula that started my collection and help beat my parents phobia, my dad even held him!. After he died i wanted another to replace him so i bought 2 females off the internet and thats when it all started. I am a member of the bts and have been to the show twice and i am going for the third time next month, I also go to the hamm germany show with my dad which goes for geckos and we went for the first time in 2007 and we have been 3 times since and it is one of the most amazing experiences i have had and i am going again this september so it time to start saving!. I started breeding last year and i have had succses with avic sp. peru perple and Thrixopelma pruriens aswell as loan succses with brachypelma vagans and Cyclosternum sp. "Machalla" and i am also expecting 200+ Lasiodora parahybana to come in the post from a succsesful loan deal. At the moment i have 18 mated females with a couple more to breed and i have 1 Cyriocosmus elegans sitting on a sac and 3 egg sac's with other people from loaning my males which are 2 Brachypelma albopilosum and 1 Ceratogyrus darlingi.
Avicularia sp. "peru perple" freashly moulted adult female (I am expecting a mature male on loan soon to try geting a second succsess with her )
Avicularia sp. "Kwitara mated adult female being rehoused and mating
Haplopelma longipes female
Haplopelma minax adult female in a threat pose
Haplopelma schmidti adult female during rehousing
Still mad after being rehoused
Haplopelma hainanum juvie female
Chaetopelma olivaceum unsexed juvie
Homoeomma sp. "blue" juvie pos female
Acanthoscurria geniculata juvie female 1
Acanthoscurria geniculata juvie female 2
Lasiodora parahybana sub adult male
Cyriocosmus elegans mature male (He's going to peter tommorow for more mating )

I have 3 Lightfooti slings coming from Craig also
Thanx Peter
£1 was an AMAZING price wasn't it...I couldn't believe the price when i saw it
My sling above cost me 20 euro's from germany and thats good as the only other time i saw them for sale was on a german website for 30 euro's !!!
I am going to buy some more slings when i go to germany in september if there is any to mix the genes so i can hopfuly breed them in the future but thats going to leave a big hole in my pocket from seeing the prices at the moment!!! The prices will prob stay high for a LONG time as they dont have many young in the sac's...I read about sombody that got a sac and it only had 9 eggs in it!!! And it was infertile

Aye £1 is an extremely good price lol, shame it was 3 per person.. I'd have prob had the lot lol.
The only other place I know of them for sale is 30 Euros each so I jumped at the chance of gettng some for £1 each
