Hi there,

This is a thread for all who have mated tarantulas or planning to mate some let us know what you are doing this year
I had better start us off..

Atm I have:

Mated Females:

2 X Grammostola Rosea (NCF)
1 X Avicularia Braunshauseni
1 X Avicularia Minatrix
3 X Poecilotheria Regalis
2 X Psalmopoeus Cambridgei
1 X Poecilotheria Subfusca(Lowland)





Mature Males On Loan For 50/50:


1 X Poecilotheria Regalis
1 X Avicularia Braunshauseni
1 X Avicularia Versicolor

The Versicolors are one of my favourite species they look stunning as spiderlings and equally as great as adults.

lol, my OH runs a mile if i have to open them up to feed, and not just the spides, its the reps too... big baby, lol lol (and im the one who hated spides)
he never liked dogs before we got together, he has no choice now cos i breed them, hes come round to the gsd's... just got to get him use to the reps etc...i would just love a snake...but thats a defo no no from him as he cant even be in the same room as them ...funny man, lol

LOL he seems abit of a wimp rofl , if you change hes mind about the snake let me know I have a few for sale atm.
I used to hate spiders a while back but was alright with tarantulas and now I keep some true spiders myself and dont mind either.
Although I prefer tarantulas.. alot more interesting, larger, some species are incredibly fast, range in colour is amazing.

Probably is I dont really keep the common names I stick with scientifc.. alot easier to identify different species.
I have one thats around 5-6 inch and I sold it for £25 to Teeny but she bought some others do I done a deal on multiples.

i think the snake is a no, shame as id love one.... Andy has to put up with all my lot as it is so cant realy take the pee out of him, lol lol he basicaly lets me have what i want and not bat an eye, he was never alowed a pet as a kid not even a cat so all this was new to him..
but i will defo be getting more spides later too, lol

oh ive got thoes fire skinks from Amy on the other group to fetch on sat....i though they may as well join my gang here..lol lol

Rofl all you will need is a sling pot.. undecided if its gonna be a arboreal or terrestial you getting also so when I send them out I will let you know

What is it about OH's and our pets? My husband likes animals but has no urge to keep pets himself. When I tell him I'm getting another spider he just shrugs and says "I think you're mad" lol. He came home from work on Friday to find 3 mantids had joined the household, before long he will be sleeping in the shed as I'll need his side of the bed for spider tanks.
