Help ID'ing my T
Was wondering if anyone could help me ID my little T?
When I got her the guy said he bought her as a smithi but he thought she looked like an emilia due to the black 'V' on her carapace.
She has now moulted 4 times since being with us and she's starting to look more like a smithi! Any help would be much appreciated.
Not the best pic but..........good luck

You're right there however it looks like a B. smithi or possibly B. auratum from what i can see. Most likely smithi as the white bands on the legs look a bit big for auratum.Mr. T wrote:Not the best pic but..........good luck

Re: Help ID'ing my T
could it be annitha? i suspect a few on here might be able to tell you, but annitha is very similar to smithi, i think one of the main differences is the shape of the black on the carapace, and maybe something to do with leg markings, can't remember exactly.
actually, i've had a look at the BTS gallery, http://thebts.co.uk/forums/gallery/showphoto.php/photo/68/ppuser/13 if the link is ok with mods and works...
anyways, you can see the pattern on the carapace is vaguely triangular, and the horizontal leg striping looks similar to yours.
hope that helps!
