Re: Forum changes
Becky wrote:????? It's not about comparing it to other forums though! It's about having features on here which are useful! surely.....?
Im not saying it is, but still wouldn't you rather me and Alex try to give the site things others dont to try and make this successfull?
I just dont belive copying other forums is the way to go about it tbh.
Re: Forum changes
By providing one section which i'm sure all of us will use is copying...? It would be a handy 'resource' for people and give us something to talk about too and see who's going etc.
I tried to enter dates on the calendar to let people know when they are but you can't even do that!!!!

Re: Forum changes
What does everyone think of the new star rating system? It still needs some more work with the user permissions because the moderators still show up as members.

Re: Forum changes
Thanks for the idea, that will be really easy to implement.
I'll see what Peter thinks about it and then I'll get started on it. I have added around 8 different posting levels such as "Member", "Premium Member" etc... when you get to a certain post count.

Re: Forum changes
I see a chat box right at the bottom of the forum but says I'm disconnected.
Is that because it isn't up and running yet? Also it's in a hard place to find lol make it more obvious, maybe on the home page or something? Or if possible like another forum I go on have a tab at the top where you have "forum, portal, calender,FAQ" etc and have one called "chat". Then clicking that takes you to a page with a chatbox? Not sure how another forum did it but their chatroom must have been some separate software because the page had a loading bar and then the chatbox had a system where you created your own rooms so one room didn't get congested when it got busy.
