Poecilotheria metallica
I love scorpions, I love pokies as well. there is nothing the beats the feeling of looking down upon something so beautiful.
But for the first time in 10 years in the hobby I can only say I was awestruck. Words simply cannot describe what it is like to open a box and cast your eyes upon one of the most beautiful tarantula's I have ever seen. Thanks for entrusting me with them Roy. hope we can get a sac from them.
The female, sub adult. me and Roy went halves on this lady to make sure his male didn't go to waste.
The MM. Roy's (young_gun) handsome lad

Re: Poecilotheria metallica
We are feeling confident, not that that counts for much with this sp. lol we have had a good year so far with 2 spids about to drop sacs and 6(+?) scorpions due any day now.
But do not worry about price, I assure you they wont be anywhere near the 80-90 euro mark that they are going for atm. try halving that price
But they will be limited to two per person to stop people buying loads and selling them at the higher rate. we thought this way would be fairer on everyone
anyway female met has webbed the start of a burrow behind her corkbark which is nice to see she is making herself at home
Mating the P.rufilata this weekend so getting some practise in If the fasciata sheds soon as well that will be another practise run.

Re: Poecilotheria metallica
As the Mrs said , they will be cheaper than most people , because we are in this hobby for the love of the spiders not for any financial gain, if we were it would not be a hobby , it would be a business. And I for one do not like greed !!!
