Fuji S5700. Not that pricey a camera. I just make sure there is good lighting.

I have the fuji S9500... same problem. my camera sensor goes UURRGGH! when i take pics with these energy saving bulbs.. or normal bulbs.

I thought it was me doing something wrong but I have done a photography course and found it's a downfall of the camera

Luckily my T's are in a well lit room. I've tried taking photos of them elsewhere in the house and they do come out grainy and dull.
