Hi,thanks for your replys,breeding this particular species is proving a bit frustrating!! had the male cohabiting with the female for a couple of days now,and still no obvious sign of mating...time will tell,im looking for either a fresh spermweb from the male,or worst case senario,a very large female,and no male!!!

Hi Dan,as far as i know he done his job twice with 1 female.the person who has him is posting him off to another person for them to try him with another female,so all in all he's doing very well mate.

That is a truly stunning spider you have there mate, hope you manage to get a sac, would def be up for a few young uns :-)

Hi,thanks again for your replys.Looks like they may have mated,removed the male from the females tank last night.they werent interested in each other at all,so i was hoping they had already mated,i went and had a look at the male,and there he was charging his palps again from a frsh spermweb Very Happy
Love the P.nigri Alan,i have a mature male arriving very soon for my 2 adult females.
