My few tarantulas
G. rosea. My first and favourite T.
She is good as gold and seems happy with her lot.
C. cyaneopubescens juve. beautiful colours under certain lights. Am looking for a nice viv for her but struggling to find anything suitable due to her small size and semi arboreal nature.
B. bmithy juve. Have read that they are slow growers but mine increased in size substantially after it's last moult. She passes the time by filling her water bowl with wood chippings.
A geniculata juve. Recently moulted and is quite a striking looking Tarantula.
L. parahybana. I am still calling it a spiderling despite moulting twice and quadrupling in size in the two months or so that I have had it. It lives in a ferrero rocher box.

Re: My few tarantulas
Nice t's Will
Your pics are fantastic!
I would move them onto a dif substrate such as eco-earth as wood chips arn't very good. They dont seem to mind tho and they all look great esp the GBB

Re: My few tarantulas
Thanks Pumpkinette and Luke, I have noticed different substrate in the photo's I have browsed and it is something I am looking to experiment with in the near future. I have a layer of moist vermiculite under the chippings to help with moisture levels.

Re: My few tarantulas
Hi Blue tongue Dan, yes they are one of my faves too. Mine uses its cave to munch on it's food but otherwise likes to sit out in the open.
Hi Teeny, so your smithi fills it's water bowl too? I wonder why they do this?
Hi iiisecondcreep and Young_Gun. Thank you for your nice comments
Tarantulas make great subjects for taking pictures of.

Nice spids and some cracking photo's Will.
The best substrate (IMO) is eco earth mixed with a little vermiculite
