Peter.

Don't be worried about rehousing stuff because that's when you make mistakes. Just be prepared with a big bottle with the bottom cut off and a piece of card for if it does make a run for it and stay calm .

I don't think its the escaping that most people would be worried about, more the getting a nice tag off it.stiggmatt wrote:Don't be worried about rehousing stuff because that's when you make mistakes. I must say though, I think a lot of people demonise this sp unfairly.

I think alot of arachnids are demonised for there bites and stings but what you have to remember is if you are in good health and don't panic you will be ok. I recently read about Death Stalker scorpions venom being dependant on the weight/size of the unfortunate person.

Aye they are indeed made out alot worse than what they are..
Although I have received a bite from this example which wasen't pleasant I'm feeling better a few days later.
Ironically I rehouse the spider fine and when I was changing its water when it was in its burrow it got me
Regards,
Peter.
